Responsibilities & Context:
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Quality Control (QC) team.

  • Establish and maintain quality control procedures, standards, and inspection processes.

  • Inspect raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.

  • Monitor production processes and identify defects, deviations, and quality risks.

  • Review QC reports, test results, inspection records, and other quality documentation.

  • Investigate customer complaints, non-conformities, and recurring quality issues.

  • Identify root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment.

  • Train and evaluate QC inspectors and other relevant personnel.

  • Work closely with Production, Procurement, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.

  • Monitor factory hygiene, food safety guidelines (GMP/HACCP), and proper sanitation across processing areas.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct internal quality audits and support external/customer audits when required.

  • Monitor quality KPIs and prepare regular reports for management.

  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, waste, and customer complaints.

  • Maintain accurate and organized quality records and documentation and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
