Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Quality Control (QC) team.
Establish and maintain quality control procedures, standards, and inspection processes.
Inspect raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Monitor production processes and identify defects, deviations, and quality risks.
Review QC reports, test results, inspection records, and other quality documentation.
Investigate customer complaints, non-conformities, and recurring quality issues.
Identify root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment.
Train and evaluate QC inspectors and other relevant personnel.
Work closely with Production, Procurement, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
Monitor factory hygiene, food safety guidelines (GMP/HACCP), and proper sanitation across processing areas.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Conduct internal quality audits and support external/customer audits when required.
Monitor quality KPIs and prepare regular reports for management.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, waste, and customer complaints.
Maintain accurate and organized quality records and documentation and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
