Experience
7–10 years of progressive experience in garment production and manufacturing operations.
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including significant managerial experience in a large-scale, export-oriented garment manufacturing facility.
Must have proven hands-on experience in Knit, Woven, and Denim garment production.
Experience in managing production operations in a reputed Garments/Group of Companies will be preferred.
Experience in handling international buyers and export-oriented production operations will be highly preferred.
Preferred Experience
10–15 years of relevant experience in Garments, Textile, or Group of Companies.
Strong preference will be given to candidates with proven experience managing Knit, Woven, and Denim production operations in a large-scale, export-oriented factory with approximately 15 production lines and 40 sewing machines per line.
Experience with reputed international buyers and export-oriented garment manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Additional Requirements
Must have proven experience in managing production operations in a large-scale Knit, Woven, and Denim garment manufacturing facility comprising approximately 15 production lines with 40 sewing machines per line.
Strong knowledge of the complete garment manufacturing process, including cutting, sewing, embroidery, washing, quality, finishing, and packing.
Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, line balancing, productivity, efficiency improvement, manpower planning, and production cost control.
Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering (IE) functions, including SMV, capacity calculation, line balancing, productivity, efficiency, and manpower optimization.
Must be capable of independently managing and controlling large-scale production operations and achieving production, quality, efficiency, cost, and shipment targets.
Should be confident, smart, and professional in dealing with buyers, buyer representatives, auditors, and other stakeholders.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Good computer literacy, particularly in MS Office and production-related software/systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and team-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production and shipment deadlines.
Take overall responsibility for Sewing and Production Operations of a large-scale, export-oriented garment manufacturing facility covering Knit, Woven, and Denim products.
Manage and oversee production operations across approximately 15 production lines with 40 sewing machines per line, ensuring optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, production capacity, and other resources.
Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual production targets while maintaining required quality, efficiency, cost, and delivery standards.
Review order quantities, production capacity, delivery schedules, and resource requirements in advance and develop effective production plans accordingly.
Coordinate with Top Management, Merchandising, Planning, IE, Quality, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, Washing, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth execution of production plans.
Provide strategic direction and necessary guidance to the Production Manager and production team for effective implementation of approved production plans.
Monitor and control overall Industrial Engineering (IE) activities, including SMV analysis, capacity planning, line balancing, manpower planning, productivity improvement, and efficiency monitoring.
Monitor production efficiency, productivity, capacity utilization, line performance, absenteeism, overtime, manpower utilization, and other key production KPIs.
Identify production bottlenecks, analyze root causes, and implement timely corrective actions to minimize production losses, downtime, and delays.
Ensure smooth production flow from cutting through sewing, embroidery, washing, finishing, packing, and shipment.
Ensure effective coordination between Production and Quality teams to maintain product quality and minimize defects, rework, alteration, rejection, and production losses.
Monitor production progress against approved plans and take proactive measures to ensure on-time shipment.
Review and control production costs, manpower costs, overtime, wastage, and other operational expenses to achieve optimum cost efficiency.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual production and operational plans in line with business objectives.
Analyze garment pre-costing and post-costing information and recommend appropriate measures for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
Establish, monitor, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for Production, IE, Quality, Efficiency, Cost, and Delivery.
Work closely with Top Management to develop and implement strategic production and operational plans, identify business risks, and establish appropriate mitigation measures.
Develop a strong culture of accountability, discipline, teamwork, productivity, and continuous improvement across the production team.
Lead, motivate, coach, and develop Production and IE personnel to strengthen technical and managerial capabilities.
Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with buyers, buyer representatives, auditors, and other stakeholders when required.
Support buyer visits, factory inspections, production meetings, and other customer-related activities.
Ensure production operations are aligned with buyer requirements, approved samples, specifications, quality standards, and shipment schedules.
Develop and continuously improve production systems, processes, and operational controls to achieve sustainable productivity and profitability.
Collaborate with Top Management to develop operational infrastructure, systems, processes, and resources capable of supporting sustainable and profitable business growth.
Monitor industry developments, modern garment manufacturing technologies, automation, production techniques, productivity improvement methods, market trends, and competitors to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Prepare regular production and operational performance reports for Top Management and provide recommendations for business growth and operational improvement.
