Key Responsibilities:

Factory Operations & Production Management

·       Lead day-to-day factory operations and production planning.

·       Ensure production targets for volume, quality, cost and delivery are achieved.

·       Optimize manpower, capacity, machinery and resources and minimize downtime, wastage and operational losses.

·       Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely material availability.

Quality Management

·       Ensure products meet required quality and customer standards.

·       Address quality issues, customer complaints and production deviations.

·       Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards.

Cost & Productivity

·       Manage factory costs within approved budgets.

·       Drive productivity, yield and Overall equipment effectiveness improvement.

·       Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency initiatives.

·       Control material usage, wastage, overtime and operating expenses.

Maintenance & Engineering

·       Ensure effective preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.

·       Minimize breakdowns and unplanned downtime.

·       Oversee maintenance of machinery, utilities and factory infrastructure.

Health, Safety & Environment

·       Ensure a safe, healthy and compliant workplace.

·       Implement safety procedures, inspections and emergency response plans.

·       Ensure compliance with applicable Health safety and environmental requirements.

People Management

• Lead, motivate and develop the factory workforce.

• Promote accountability, teamwork, discipline and employee engagement.

• Partner with HR on employee relations and workforce development.

Inventory & Materials

• Oversee raw materials, WIP, finished goods and packaging inventory.

• Ensure optimal inventory levels, accurate stock control and minimal wastage.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies and audit requirements.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and waste reduction.

• Ensure timely closure of audit findings and corrective actions.

Reporting

• Provide regular management reports on production, productivity, quality, Overall equipment effectiveness, costs, inventory, maintenance, safety, compliance and improvement initiatives.
