• Diploma in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline

• Relevant technical qualifications may be considered based on industry requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in production/manufacturing operations

• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

• Production planning and supervision

• Quality and process control

• Knowledge of workplace safety practices

• Computer literacy, particularly MS Excel and production reporting

• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is an advantage

• Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement tools is preferred

• Supervising day-to-day production activities and ensure achievement of production targets

• Planning and allocating manpower, machines, materials, and other resources according to production requirements

• Monitoring production schedules, workflow, output, productivity, and machine utilization

• Ensuring production is carried out according to approved specifications, SOPs, quality standards, and customer requirements

• Monitoring production processes to minimize defects, rework, wastage, and downtime

• Coordinating with Production Planning, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, Procurement, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted production

• Identifying production problems, bottlenecks, and delays and take appropriate corrective actions

• Supervising, guiding, and motivating production operators and workers to achieve departmental objectives

• Assigning duties and responsibilities to team members and monitor their performance

• Ensuring proper discipline, attendance, shift arrangements, and compliance with company policies

• Providing training, coaching, and on-the-job guidance to production employees

• Ensuring machines, tools, and equipment are used properly and safely

• Coordinating with the Maintenance team to resolve machine breakdowns and minimize downtime

• Ensuring compliance with workplace health, safety, environmental, and housekeeping requirements

• Maintaining proper 5S/housekeeping standards within the production area

• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and communicate production performance to management

• Monitoring production-related KPIs and recommend actions to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost

• Participating in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement activities such as Lean, Kaizen, and process optimization

• Ensuring proper shift handover and communicate pending issues to the next shift or management

• Performing any other duties assigned by the Production Manager or management
