Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or another relevant discipline from a recognized institution
A Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management, or a related discipline will be considered an advantage
Relevant professional certifications in Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, ISO/FSSC 22000, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, or Occupational Health & Safety will be advantageous
Minimum 12–18 years of progressive professional experience, preferably within the food manufacturing, FMCG, beverage, dairy, bakery, frozen food, or related manufacturing sector
Demonstrated experience in a senior factory, plant, manufacturing, or operations management position
Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary factory operations and large-scale production teams
Strong practical experience in production management, food safety, quality management, engineering, maintenance, cost control, and operational excellence
Experience in plant expansion, automation, CAPEX management, commissioning, and manufacturing transformation will be an advantage
Establishing annual operating plans, production targets, performance standards, budgets, and key performance indicators for the factory
Establishing systems to minimize process losses, wastage, rejection, rework, downtime, and production variances
Ensuring strict adherence to approved production procedures, SOPs, work instructions, process parameters, and operational standards
Establishing and maintain a strong food safety and quality culture throughout the factory
Ensuring effective implementation of applicable systems and standards, including GMP, HACCP, GHP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and other relevant standards
Ensuring effective control of raw materials, packaging materials, production processes, finished products, storage conditions, hygiene, sanitation, allergens, traceability, and product integrity
Ensuring timely investigation and resolution of quality deviations, customer complaints, non-conformities, and product-related incidents
Ensuring maximum availability, reliability, and operational efficiency of all production equipment, machinery, utilities, and plant infrastructure
Establishing and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Minimizing equipment breakdowns, unplanned downtime, and production interruptions
Developing and manage the annual factory operating budget in accordance with approved corporate financial objectives
Monitoring manufacturing costs, conversion costs, labor costs, utility costs, maintenance expenses, material losses, and other operational expenditures
Coordinating with Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, and Commercial functions to ensure uninterrupted availability of required materials
Ensuring proper receipt, storage, handling, issuance, and preservation of raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-process, and finished products
Ensuring appropriate application of FIFO/FEFO and inventory-control principles
Minimizing material losses, expiry, deterioration, damage, and obsolete inventory
Ensuring appropriate environmental and hygienic conditions for storage of food products and ingredients
Maintaining effective inventory accuracy and stock-control systems
Ensuring implementation and continuous improvement of occupational health, safety, fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and environmental management systems
Establishing a proactive safety culture across all factory operations
Promoting the application of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other appropriate improvement methodologies
Providing manufacturing leadership for new product development, industrial trials, process validation, scale-up, and commercialization
