Education:
Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in Textile Quality Assurance, preferably in a reputed composite textile manufacturing organization.Proven experience in a senior managerial/department head position in Quality Assurance.Strong knowledge of Fabric Testing, Shade Management, Color Fastness, Quality Control and Quality Management Systems.Sound understanding of international quality standards, buyer requirements and compliance.Experience in handling international buyers such as Ralph Lauren, American Eagle, Target and other reputed global brands will be preferred.Strong leadership, communication, analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to lead a large QA team and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead and oversee the overall Quality Assurance function from yarn to final fabric inspection.
Develop, implement and continuously improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
Ensure product quality meets customer specifications, international standards and buyer requirements.
Establish quality objectives, KPIs and improvement strategies in line with business goals.
Monitor quality performance, defects, DHU%, rework, wastage and take effective corrective and preventive actions.
Lead pre-production, pre-final and final inspection processes and ensure shipment quality.
Ensure effective implementation of quality standards at every stage of production.
Lead and manage QMS, ISO, Product Safety, Traceability and Internal/External Audits.
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Dyeing, Finishing, R&D and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
Manage buyer complaints, conduct root cause analysis and ensure timely CAPA implementation.
Maintain strong communication and professional relationships with international buyers and their representatives.
Provide strategic and technical guidance to management on quality risks, product quality and process improvement.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, productivity and cost efficiency.
Control quality-related wastage and contribute to overall cost optimization.
Develop the capability of the QA team through structured training, coaching and performance management.
Conduct regular management review meetings and ensure timely implementation of improvement actions.
Ensure compliance with international quality regulations and customer commitments.
Prepare and present quality performance reports, trends, risks and improvement plans to Top Management.
Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by Management.
