Job Context:

To lead and manage the overall production operations of the sanitary ware manufacturing facility, ensuring planned production, consistent product quality, optimum productivity, efficient utilization of raw materials and resources, minimum wastage, cost-effective manufacturing, and timely delivery of finished products.

The position will be responsible for managing the complete production process, including raw-material preparation, body preparation, casting/forming, drying, glazing, kiln/firing operations, sorting, finishing, and packing, while ensuring compliance with approved production standards, quality requirements, safety procedures, and production targets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end production operations of the Sanitary Ware Machine to achieve targeted output, quality benchmarks, and machine efficiency.

• Coordinate with maintenance, utilities, and Administrative teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operation

• and quick resolution of technical and administrative issues.

• Review and control operational costs and material consumption to meet budget targets and improve cost-effectiveness.

• Monitor and adjust stock preparation, furnish composition, and chemical dosing to maintain uniform board structure and surface finish.

• Analyze downtime data and process deviations to identify root causes and implement corrective measures for continuous improvement.

• Lead, train and motivate the shift engineers and production teams to enhance operational efficiency and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with procurement, SCM, and logistics teams to align production schedules with raw material availability and market demand.

• Oversee compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards to ensure safe and sustainable plant operations.

• Establish process SOPs and quality systems to maintain consistency, traceability, and regulatory compliance.

• Present production reports, strategic plans, and improvement initiatives to support decision-making by senior management.

• Coordinate with Warehouse/Stores to ensure timely availability of raw materials and production consumables.

• Ensure strict compliance with factory safety rules and procedures.

• Work closely with the Quality Assurance/Quality Control team to maintain consistent product quality.
