Educational QualificationB.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from any reputed public university.ExperienceMinimum 8 years of professional experience, with 7–8 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering/maintenance.Candidates with hands-on experience in various industrial environments will be preferred.Experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, process industry, or large-scale industrial facilities will be an added advantage.

Abul Khair Group is seeking a technically competent, experienced Assistant Manager – Mechanical to support mechanical maintenance, equipment reliability, and engineering operations at our industrial facility in Lakshman, Cumilla.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on exposure to mechanical systems and maintenance activities across industrial environments, with proven ability to troubleshoot equipment, lead maintenance activities, and ensure smooth and reliable plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure smooth operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems.

• Lead preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.

• Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and productivity.

• Support installation, commissioning, modification and maintenance of mechanical machinery and equipment.

• Coordinate with production, electrical, automation and other relevant departments to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

• Prepare and monitor maintenance schedules, work plans and equipment maintenance records.

• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, tools, spare parts and maintenance resources.

• Analyze recurring equipment failures and conduct root-cause analysis to prevent future breakdowns.

• Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, maintenance procedures and engineering practices.

• Guide and supervise technicians and maintenance personnel and provide technical support when required.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment efficiency, reliability and operational performance.
