Job Context

• This Group is a renowned and a well-established company in Bangladesh. It has a well organized salt factory in Patiya , Chattogram . However, to oversee and increase daily production, quality control and ensure safety , we need a Production Manager (Salt experienced) who has the following working abilities.

Job Description / Responsibility

• Core Production and Operations.

• Plan and run daily production schedules to hit output goals.

• Oversee raw salt intake, washing, burning, crushing, refining, and iodization processes.

• Manage equipment maintenance schedules to prevent costly plant downtime.

• Coordinate packaging, storage, and bulk dispatch readiness.

• Quality Assurance and Compliance.

• Ensure the finished industrial salt meets specific purity, moisture, and grain-size standards.

• Monitor anti-caking agent mixing and chemical dosing accuracy.

• Enforce strict workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Keep industrial-grade and non-edible salt streams strictly separated from food-grade supply lines.

• Resource and Supply Chain Management

• Hire, train, and supervise factory shift supervisors, machine operators, and laborers.

• Manage inventory levels for raw salt feedstock, packaging materials, and processing chemicals.

• Negotiate cost-effective contracts with raw material vendors and transport providers.

• Monitor labor and operational budgets to reduce overall production waste

• To assist in special projects and initiatives as assigned by top management.
