Responsibilities & Context:
Conduct quality inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished tyres and tubes.
Monitor quality parameters across Mixing, Extrusion, Building, Curing, and Tube Testing processes.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, Work Instructions, quality standards, and approved specifications.
Identify and analyze defects, rejection, scrap, and wastage and support corrective actions.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using 5 Why, Fishbone, and other relevant quality tools.
Implement and follow up on CAPA to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
Support compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements and assist during internal/external audits.
Handle customer quality complaints, conduct analysis, and prepare corrective action reports.
Monitor incoming raw material quality and coordinate with suppliers regarding quality issues.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports and maintain proper QA documentation and records.
Apply 7 QC Tools, SPC, MSA, FMEA, and Control Plans for quality monitoring and improvement.
Support continuous improvement, 5S, safety, and quality awareness activities within the department.
