Experience:
Master’s degree in Social Sciences, preferably in Business Administration or a related discipline, from a recognized university.
Additional certifications in PGDHRM, Labor Law, Payroll, or Administrative Management will be considered an advantage.
Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of ICT policies, regulations, and operational frameworks is a plus.
Proven expertise in financial, administrative, and office management.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in HR & Administration, including 3–5 years in a supervisory or mid-level managerial role.
Experience in trade bodies, associations, chambers, federations, business councils, government affairs, or the ICT sector is preferred.
Strong computer literacy with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bangla and English.
Job Context
The Deputy/Asst.Manager, HR & Administration plays a pivotal role in managing the organization’s human resources and administrative functions. The position ensures operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and a supportive work environment. Acting as a strategic partner to senior management, the role drives HR initiatives, fosters employee engagement, and ensures smooth administrative operations across BASIS.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation programs.
Maintain and update HR databases, personnel files, contracts, and documentation securely.
Support workforce planning, performance evaluation, and career development initiatives.
Oversee employee relations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
Manage HR software, leave management, and attendance tracking systems.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Laws, tax regulations, and internal HR policies.
Provide logistical support and assist in organizing training, workshops, and development programs.
Promote employee engagement, well-being, and retention initiatives.
Prepare NOCs, experience certificates, release letters, and other exit-related documentation.
Supervise messenger services and internal dispatch activities.
Manage administrative support for senior executives, including refreshments, logistics, and office needs.
Coordinate meetings, including Standing Committee and Board Sub-Committee sessions, ensuring scheduling, documentation, and follow-up.
Oversee office supplies, procurement processes, and vendor management.
