Experience:

• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Studies
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Studies
• Diploma in Textile Engineering in Industrial Engineering

• Bechelor’s/Master’s in degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, Industrial Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 8-10 year’s experience in product development, preferably in metal trims, accessories or ribbons.

• Strong knowledge of materials.

• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication skills (English & local language) and ability to manage cross-functional teams.

• Lead the design, development, and commercialization of metal buttons and ribbons according to market trends, customer requirements and brand standards.

• Conduct market research to identify new materials, finishes, and styles.

• Develop prototypes and oversee sampling process ensuring adherence to specifications.

• Manage the product development lifecycle from idea to bulk production handover.

• Ensure timely approvals of samples and pre-production items.

• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and production teams for material sourcing and technical feasibility.

• Ensure all developed products meet quality standards, performance requirements, and buyer compliance regulations.

• Collaborate with QA/QC teams for testing and approval.

• Prepare cost sheets and ensure competitive pricing strategies.

• Work with sourcing and procurement teams to negotiate with vendors for cost-effective solutions.

• Lead, mentor, and guide the product development team.

• Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, sales, and production teams to ensure smooth execution of product launches.

• Conduct market research and trend analysis to generate new product ideas.

• Collaborate with buyers, merchandisers, designers, and production teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness.

• Develop prototypes, samples, and final products in alignment with customer specifications.

• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards.

• Coordinate with vendors, raw material suppliers, and manufacturing units to ensure timely development.

• Manage product testing, trials, and approvals before bulk production.

• Provide technical support to sales and marketing teams for product presentations to clients.

• Maintain strong client relationships by addressing product-related queries and offering innovative solutions.

• Monitor timelines, budgets, and efficiency of the product development cycle.

• Continuously improve product design, cost optimization, and development processes.
