Experience:

• 2 to 4 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Buying House, Sweater Industry

• Bachelor’s in Fashion Design / Knitwear Design / Textile Engineering.

• BUFT, BUTEX, Shanto-Mariam University, or equivalent institutes preferred.

• 2 to 4 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Buying House, Sweater Industry

• Minimum 02 years of professional experience in Sweater Design or R&D in a reputed factory or buying house

• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Excel reporting

• Negotiation skills and excellent communication skills

• Strong teamwork ability and professional attitudeExperience in Garments (Sweater) industry

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and related design software.

• Good understanding of fashion trends and product development processes.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

• Lead the design and development of innovative sweater products and seasonal collections aligned with global fashion trends and buyer requirements.

• Conduct trend research, color forecasting, and market analysis to generate creative design concepts.

• Create and present design boards, mood boards, artworks, and technical design sheets using professional design software.

• Develop knit-down samples, swatches, and prototype samples to support product innovation.

• Select and recommend suitable yarns, stitch patterns, knit structures, and gauges to achieve desired design aesthetics and performance.

• Prepare detailed technical packs (Tech Packs), specifications, and development guidelines for sampling and production.

• Collaborate with Merchandising, Sampling, and Production teams to ensure smooth and timely product development.

• Monitor sample progress, troubleshoot design or technical issues, and provide solutions.

• Ensure designs are commercially viable, production-friendly, and cost-effective while maintaining quality.

• Maintain accurate design development records, sample tracking, and technical documentation.

• Support buyer meetings, presentations, and design discussions by showcasing creative and technical expertise.
