Responsibilities & Context:
Operation knowledge:
- Need to know the swing of garments.
- Need to know 2D pattern by lectra software
- Need to know manual patterns. It is better to know 3D patterns.
- Need to know marker consumption with best efficiency
- It is better to know 3D software by CLO
- Need to know Dummy fit (Fit knowledge)
- Need to know Fit correction
Planning Knowledge:
- Need to know to set daily sample room production targets & achievement
- Ensure all required fabrics, threads, trims, and accessories are available on time
- Ensure all planed styles pattern are available on time
- Ensure all planed styles cutting are available on time
- Ensure wash standard & wash shrinkage are in hand or implemented
- Make sure on time delivery
- It is better to know ERP system knowledge
Quality knowledge:
Need to know how to prioritize quality-
- Need to know pattern check system or ensure patter is OK as per requirement
- Ensure workmanship is OK as per requirement
- Need to know how implant fabric shrinkage
- Need to know Sample Pass/Fail analysis & create a specific deadline for improvement.
- Weekly and monthly quality team meetings to discuss how to further improve quality
Compliance, safety & Communication:
- Need to know worker compliance
- Need to know environmental compliance
- Need to know technical compliance
- Must have the ability to motivate the team to increase the production & reduce migration/Personnel Leadership
- Must have verbal or written communication skills with buyers on any sample-related issues.
