Responsibilities & Context:
Maintenance Supervision: Assist the Technical Manager in planning, supervising daily maintenance, and ensuring smooth operation of production and utility equipment.
Machine Breakdown & Troubleshooting: Coordinate electrical, mechanical, PLC, HMI, VFD, and instrumentation repairs, conduct root-cause analysis, and minimize downtime.
Production Support: Provide technical support to Production and QA, ensure stable machine operation, and assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and relocation.
Electrical & Automation: Supervise maintenance of automation systems, control panels, and electrical distribution, coordinating with vendors when needed.
Utility Equipment: Oversee the operation and maintenance of generators, compressors, chillers, boilers, HVAC, and related utility systems.
Preventive Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance schedules, maintain equipment history logs, and oversee component inspections and calibration.
Spare Parts Management: Monitor critical spare stock levels, prepare purchase requisitions, and coordinate with technical suppliers.
Energy Management: Track utility consumption (electricity, fuel, air, water) and support energy-efficiency projects.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce technical SOPs and safety procedures for high-risk maintenance activities like electrical work and welding.
Team Supervision: Assign daily tasks, guide, and train technicians, electricians, and mechanics.
Reporting: Document and report breakdown history, preventive maintenance logs, utility consumption, and key technical issues to the Technical Manager.
