Responsibilities & Context:
Production Planning & Control
Develop and implement production plans aligned with buyer requirements and delivery schedules.
Monitor daily production targets and ensure achievement across sewing, finishing, and packing sections.
Coordinate with merchandising, planning, and quality teams to streamline workflow.
Operational Excellence
Supervise production floor activities, ensuring smooth operation of machines and manpower utilization.
Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Ensure optimum use of resources to reduce wastage and improve productivity.
Quality Assurance
Maintain strict quality standards in line with buyer specifications.
Collaborate with QA teams to reduce defects and reworks.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
Team Leadership
Lead, train, and motivate supervisors, line chiefs, and operators.
Conduct performance evaluations and build a culture of accountability.
Foster teamwork and maintain discipline on the production floor.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with Accord/Alliance, ISO, WRAP, and other industry standards.
Maintain safe working conditions and enforce health & safety protocols.
Prepare and maintain production reports for management review.
