Job Context

We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented Officer – Cutting to support the cutting department in planning, monitoring, and controlling fabric consumption and production activities. The role requires strong coordination with CAD, cutting, and production teams to ensure accurate cut planning, efficient fabric utilization, and timely production.

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and review cut plans, relaxed fabric reports, and marker files from relevant departments.
• Perform fabric sinkage/shrinkage analysis and prepare accurate ratio plans before cutting.
• Prepare and create cut plans in the ERP system.
• Ensure 100% accurate lay sheet entry including shrinkage and marker details in ERP.
• Share table plans and cutting layouts with the Lay Supervisor and CAD department.
• Monitor cutting operations to ensure production follows the approved cut plan.
• Ensure cutting activities meet daily production targets.
• Prepare and submit daily fabric consumption reports and production updates.
• Coordinate end bits handover and takeover with relevant teams.
• Maintain overall accuracy, efficiency, and quality standards in the cutting process.
• Support production planning and assist in resolving cutting related issues.
