Experience:

Postgraduate qualification will be considered an added advantage.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing Quality Assurance.
Strong experience in woven garment manufacturing is highly preferred.
Proven experience working with internationally reputed buyers and brands.
In-depth knowledge of garment quality systems, AQL standards, root cause analysis, and quality improvement methodologies.
Strong understanding of buyer compliance requirements and factory quality management systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead large cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quality reporting systems.
Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager – Quality Assurance to lead and strengthen the quality management function of a large-scale woven garments manufacturing operation. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing quality strategies, ensuring compliance with buyer requirements, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining world-class product quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Lead the overall Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions for garment manufacturing operations.
Develop, implement, and monitor quality management systems to ensure compliance with buyer requirements and international standards.
Establish quality objectives, KPIs, and continuous improvement programs across all production stages.
Ensure product quality from raw materials to final shipment through effective quality control procedures.
Analyze quality performance data and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Production, Industrial Engineering, Technical, and Compliance teams to achieve quality targets.
Lead buyer quality audits, factory evaluations, and technical visits.
Drive root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints.
Develop and mentor quality teams, ensuring strong succession planning and talent development.
Monitor inline, end-line, and final inspection processes to ensure adherence to AQL standards.
Maintain effective communication with buyers regarding quality expectations, performance, and corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with all applicable industry, social, and regulatory requirements.
