- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resource Management. MBA & Profession Degree in HR will get preference.

Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in HR and Administration, preferably in large-scale industrial or paper manufacturing environments.
- Proven track record in managing workforce relations, factory administration, compliance, and organizational development
- Strong leadership, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law, Factory Act and HR compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS/ERP systems, and administrative reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle complex workforce and administrative challenges.

- Internal: Operations, Production, Maintenance, Finance, Procurement, Distribution, Compliance, Senior Management.
- External: Labor Office, Local Government Authorities, Law Enforcement Agencies, Vendors, Contractors, Service Providers
Responsibilities & Context: Position Purpose
To lead, plan, and manage the overall Human Resource and Administrative functions of Jamuna Paper Mills Ltd., ensuring effective workforce management, policy implementation, and administrative excellence. The role focuses on developing and maintaining a productive work environment, ensuring compliance with labor laws, enhancing employee relations, and supporting operational efficiency through strategic HR and administrative leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all HR & Administrative activities of the factory, ensuring smooth, compliant and efficient operations.
- Formulate, implement and monitor HR and administrative policies aligned with company goals and statutory regulations.
- Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding and employee retention processes for the factory workforce.
- Supervise attendance, payroll coordination, performance evaluation, leave and shift management systems.
- Ensure strong industrial relations and handle grievance, disciplinary and labor-related matters in accordance with labor laws.
- Oversee overall factory security, housekeeping, transport, canteen and accommodation facilities for employees.
- Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with factory, labor, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain effective communication with government agencies, labor offices and local authorities for statutory and operational issues.
- Monitor employee welfare, health and safety programs within the factory premises.
- Develop HR & Admin budgets and control costs through efficient planning and resource utilization.
- Guide and train HR & Admin teams to ensure productivity, discipline and employee satisfaction.
- Support management in organizational development, manpower planning and performance improvement initiatives.
- Conduct periodic audits, inspections and performance reviews of administrative systems and staff.
- Prepare and submit HR & Admin reports to management on manpower, compliance and administrative matters.
- Any other activities as and when required by management.
