Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams to manage the merchandising process from concept to shipment.
∎ Manage fabric knitting and dyeing processes, ensuring that all materials meet quality standards and buyer requirements.
∎ Oversee sourcing of fabrics, trims, and accessories, with a focus on ensuring cost efficiency and timely procurement.
∎ Prepare cost sheets, negotiate pricing with suppliers, and manage budgeting to ensure profitability.
∎ Track and monitor production timelines to ensure deadlines are met and regularly communicate progress with buyers.
∎ Work closely with the production team to resolve any issues related to fabric quality or production delays.
∎ Must have experience in production merchandising.
∎ Stay updated on fashion trends and collaborate with the design team to meet market demands.
∎ Monitor quality control at each stage of production, from fabric sourcing to final product inspection, ensuring compliance with industry and buyer standards.
∎ Ensure all garments meet the required quality standards, conducting random checks during production to identify and resolve any issues.

∎ We are seeking an experienced and proactive Apparel Merchandiser to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire merchandising process, including product development, pricing, and production coordination. Additionally, experience in fabric knitting and dyeing is a must, as this role requires close involvement in fabric sourcing and production to ensure high-quality results.
