Responsibilities & Context:
1.Implement and maintain the Laboratory Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
2.Lead and coordinate laboratory accreditation activities with Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB) / NABL.
3.Develop, review, update, and control laboratory documents and records in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025.
4.Investigate non-conformities, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
5.Identify opportunities for continual improvement and implement improvement initiatives.
6.Introduce and validate new test methods, laboratory processes, and quality procedures.
7.Plan, monitor, and review instrument calibration, validation, verification, and maintenance schedules.
8.Provide technical support to laboratory operations and resolve operational issues.
9.Identify training needs and organize technical competency development programs for laboratory personnel, including sampling staff.
10.Ensure laboratory personnel follow the latest versions of applicable international testing standards.
11.Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth implementation of quality and laboratory activities.
12.Ensure confidentiality, impartiality, and integrity are maintained throughout all laboratory operations.
13.Monitor implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
14.Identify and report non-conformities in testing activities and laboratory processes.
15.Monitor laboratory Turnaround Time (TAT) and report performance to the Laboratory Manager.
16. Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) across the processing floor.
17.Face customer, certification body, and third-party audits, including:
18.H&M, M&S QMS Audit, IKEA Traceability Audit, Inditex, GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, Egyptian Cotton, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, OEKO-TEX® STeP
19.Conduct awareness and compliance training on QMS, Traceability, Sustainability, and Certification requirements for production and processing personnel.
20.Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly internal audits to verify compliance with QMS and traceability requirements.
21.Lead and maintain 5S implementation throughout the laboratory and processing floor.
22.Develop, review, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality documents.
23.Perform any other duties assigned by management.
