Experience:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Law, HR, Business Administration, Social Science, or a relevant discipline.
5–8 years of relevant experience in factory compliance, preferably in the RMG/Woven Garments industry.
Strong hands-on experience in social compliance and audit management.
In-depth knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law, buyer compliance requirements, and international social compliance standards.
Proven experience in handling customer, third-party, social, and ethical compliance audits.
Strong expertise in CAP development, audit follow-up, risk assessment, and compliance improvement.
Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently manage factory-level compliance and drive continuous improvement.
Lead and manage overall compliance functions of the factory.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law, buyer requirements, international standards, and codes of conduct.
Plan, coordinate, and manage customer, social, ethical, and third-party compliance audits.
Conduct regular compliance assessments, internal audits, gap analysis, and risk assessments.
Prepare and implement Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and ensure timely and sustainable closure of audit findings.
Monitor compliance areas including working hours, wages & benefits, worker rights, grievance mechanisms, disciplinary practices, forced/child labour, and freedom of association.
Monitor occupational health & safety compliance and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure required standards are maintained.
Ensure all compliance-related policies, procedures, records, and statutory documents are properly maintained and updated.
Conduct regular worker and management awareness/training programs on social compliance requirements.
Monitor factory compliance performance through regular inspections, follow-ups, and compliance reporting.
Identify compliance risks and recommend preventive and corrective measures to management.
Maintain effective communication with buyers, auditors, certification bodies, and internal stakeholders regarding compliance matters.
Stay updated on changes in labour legislation, buyer codes of conduct, and international social compliance standards
