• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Fabric Manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of fabric construction, yarns, dyeing, finishing, and quality standards.

• Hands-on experience in fabric costing, price negotiation, and cost optimization.

• Knowledge of sustainable fabrics and certifications.

• Strong experience in mill/supplier management and technical troubleshooting.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Renaissance Designs Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Executive, Fabric Technology to lead fabric sourcing, technical evaluation, cost optimization, sustainability, and bulk quality assurance. The role requires strong fabric knowledge and supplier management skills to source commercially viable fabric options that meet buyer requirements, target costs, quality standards, and sustainability expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate fabrics based on buyer requirements, quality standards, aesthetics, and target costs.

• Identify alternative fabric constructions and yarn blends to optimize cost without compromising quality or performance.

• Analyze fabric costing and negotiate with mills to achieve competitive prices and target margins.

• Research and source innovative and sustainable fabric options with relevant certifications such as GOTS, GRS, and OEKO-TEX.

• Ensure proper traceability and certification documentation for sustainable fabrics.

• Monitor bulk fabric quality, shade continuity, and consistency against approved standards.

• Troubleshoot technical fabric issues with mills to minimize rejection, production disruption, and bulk wastage.

• Maintain strong relationships with mills and suppliers and support continuous improvement in quality, cost, and sourcing efficiency.

• Collaborate with Merchandising, Product Development, Quality, and Production teams to ensure smooth sourcing and bulk execution.
