Experience:

• 8 to 12 years

• Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry

•Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Textile Engineering/Technology, Textile Chemistry or related field.

• 8 to 12 years

• Age At most 45 years

•8–10 years’ experience in textile/apparel testing, including significant experience in an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory.

•3–5 years’ experience in laboratory, technical or quality management, with responsibility for accreditation, method validation and team supervision.

•Strong knowledge of AATCC, ISO and ASTM testing standards, measurement uncertainty and results integrity.

•Sound knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 QMS, internal audits, proficiency testing and corrective actions.

•Strong technical leadership, people management, organization and cross-functional coordination skills.

•Excellent customer communication skills; fluent in Bengali, good working English, and proficient in MS Office and LIMS.

1.Laboratory Accreditation & Quality Management

• Lead ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, QMS, internal audits, management reviews, proficiency testing, CAPA and accreditation/customer audits.

2.Technical Testing Oversight

• Oversee testing operations, technical scope, method validation and compliance with AATCC, ISO, ASTM and customer standards.

• Review and approve test reports and resolve technical issues, retests and customer queries.

3.Equipment, Calibration & Traceability

• Manage calibration requirements, measurement uncertainty and technical validation of testing equipment in coordination with the Administrative Manager.

4.Customer & Stakeholder Service

• Manage testing requests, sample flow, turnaround time, capacity and reporting for internal factories and external customers/brands.

5.People Management & Development

• Lead and develop laboratory staff; manage rosters, competency assessments, training and recruitment.

6.R&D Laboratory Coordination

• Coordinate shared sample preparation/storage facilities and ensure smooth sample flow while maintaining the operational boundary between accredited testing and R&D screening.

7.HSE Compliance

• Ensure safe handling of chemicals, equipment operation, PPE compliance and incident reporting in accordance with HSE requirements.

8.Budget & Resource Planning

• Manage laboratory operating budgets, consumables, calibration, proficiency testing, accreditation costs and capital requirements.
