Responsibilities & Context:
Review and prepare detailed product costing covering fabric, trims, accessories, CM, washing, printing, embroidery, packaging, freight, and other applicable costs.
Review costing sheets prepared by the merchandising team and ensure all cost components, consumption, wastage, labor, overheads, and margins are accurately calculated.
Lead and support price negotiations with buyers, factories, suppliers, and strategic vendors to achieve commercially viable prices while maintaining target margins.
Analyze fabric, trims, accessories, and other raw material prices to ensure competitive sourcing costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
Coordinate with suppliers and factories to validate production costs, consumption, efficiency, and manufacturing charges used in product costing.
