• Technical/vocational training in Mechanical, Sewing Machine Maintenance, or a related field will be an advantage.

• Candidates with strong hands-on experience may be considered based on technical competency.

• Experience in Woven and Denim Garments will be highly preferred.

Job Context:

Sinha Knit and Denims Ltd. is looking for an experienced and technically skilled Sewing Maintenance professional to ensure smooth, reliable, and efficient operation of sewing machines in our woven and denim garment production facility.

This is a hands-on technical position. Strong practical experience in industrial sewing machine maintenance, troubleshooting, machine setting, and breakdown handling will be given high priority.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot all types of industrial sewing machines used in woven and denim garment production.

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance to minimize machine downtime.

• Identify machine faults and provide quick technical solutions on the production floor.

• Handle machine setting, adjustment, timing, tension, feed, lubrication, and other technical requirements.

• Maintain and service machines such as Lockstitch, Overlock, Flatlock, Chain Stitch, Buttonhole, Button Attach, Bartack and other special sewing machines.

• Support production during style changes, new machine setup, machine shifting, and line setup.

• Regularly inspect machine condition and ensure machines remain production-ready.

• Replace defective or worn-out machine parts and maintain proper spare-parts usage records.

• Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to resolve machine-related problems affecting production and garment quality.

• Maintain daily maintenance records, breakdown reports, preventive maintenance schedules, and machine history.

• Ensure proper use of tools, lubricants, spare parts, and maintenance equipment.

• Follow factory safety procedures and ensure safe working conditions during maintenance activities.

• Provide technical guidance to sewing machine operators and junior mechanics when required.
