B.Sc. or Diploma in Textile Engineering (Wet Process) / Applied Chemistry from any recognized institute.

• Practical knowledge of garment wash chemicals, enzymes, and shade evaluation standards under light boxes.

• Familiarity with buyer requirements (e.g., Zara, American Eagle) is a plus.

• Good communication skills and computer literacy (MS Excel/Word for report generation).

We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Executive – R&D to join our garment washing R&D team. The ideal candidate will assist in executing wash trials, recipe tracking, sample development, and shade matching for our key global buyers, including Zara and American Eagle.

Job Responsibilities

• Sample & Recipe Trial: Execute daily lab trials and sample washing as per buyer tech packs and target swatches.

• Recipe Documentation: Maintain accurate records of chemical ratios, temperature, wash cycle timing, and recipe sheets for bulk replication.

• Shade & Hand-Feel Matching: Perform shade matching, blanket reviews, and physical testing to ensure garment hand-feel meets buyer expectations.

• Bulk Execution Support: Assist the production team during bulk trial runs to ensure the lab recipe is followed accurately on the shop floor.

• Chemical Stock & Lab Management: Track R&D chemical inventory, test new laundry chemicals, and maintain proper 5S/cleanliness in the R&D lab.

• Cross-Department Support: Coordinate with merchandising for sample swatches and submit wash reports to the AGM/Manager – R&D for review.
