Experience:
•B.Sc. in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE), Leather Engineering, Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
•Master's degree or MBA will be considered an added advantage.
•Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Quality Assurance within export-oriented manufacturing.
•At least 5 years in a managerial role.
•Experience in luxury handbags, leather goods, footwear, or premium apparel manufacturing will be highly preferred.
•Hands-on experience working with international premium brands such as Coach, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, or similar global brands will be an added advantage.
•Strong knowledge of handbag construction, workmanship standards, material inspection, and manufacturing processes.
•Strong leadership and team management skills.
•Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
•Sound knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
•Strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
•Excellent communication and presentation skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MES systems.
•Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high quality standards.
•Positive attitude with strong customer focus and attention to detail.

•Lead and manage the overall Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions across all production processes.
•Develop, implement, and continuously improve the factory Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with company policies and buyer requirements.
•Ensure products consistently meet customer specifications, workmanship standards, and international quality requirements.
•Establish and monitor quality KPIs including DHU, FTT (First Time Through), RFT, Defect Rate, Customer Complaints, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, repair, and quality-related costs.
•Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 5 Why, Fishbone, CAPA, and other quality improvement methodologies to eliminate recurring issues.
•Ensure effective quality control at Incoming Material Inspection (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), End-line Inspection, and Final Quality Audit (FQA).
•Collaborate closely with Production, IE, Technical, Product Development, Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to achieve quality and productivity objectives.
•Lead pilot production, first article approval, process validation, and new style quality readiness before bulk production.
•Review customer feedback, audit findings, and warranty claims to identify improvement opportunities and implement preventive actions.
•Plan and conduct internal quality audits to ensure compliance with buyer standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
•Develop quality standards, inspection criteria, control plans, SOPs, and training materials.
•Coach, train, and develop QA team members, supervisors, and production associates to build a strong quality culture.
•Monitor supplier quality performance and work with sourcing teams to improve incoming material quality.
•Prepare quality performance reports and present quality metrics, trends, and improvement plans to senior management and buyers.
•Support customer audits, factory assessments, and compliance inspections.
•Promote a culture of "Right First Time" and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
•Perform any other quality-related responsibilities assigned by management.
