Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a managerial role focused on fire safety, preferably within local or multinational companies.
Comprehensive fire and safety certifications.
Proven track record of managing fire safety initiatives in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Experience working with the Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defense is a significant advantage.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to foster a culture of safety among employees.
Responsibilities & Context:
Responsible for all factories of LDC group regarding fire issue.
Managing and implementing the requirements of ACCORD, ALLIANCE as well as DECATHLON and other buyer.
Design and Supervising the Installation of Sprinkler Systems as per NFPA 13.
Design and Supervising the Installation of Standpipe and Hose Systems as per NFPA 14.
Design and Supervising the Installation of Stationary Pumps for Fire Protection as per NFPA 20.
Design and Supervising the Installation Water Tanks for Private Fire Protection as per NFPA 22.
Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems as per NFPA 25.
Installation and maintenance of portable fire extinguisher as per NFPA 10.
Design and Installation and maintenance of Fire detection and Alarm system as per NFPA 72.
Installation of PA system and interfacing it with the FACP.
Supervising the Design and Installation and Maintenance of VESDA (Xtralis) aspiratory smoke detection System.
Installation and Maintenance of remote monitoring system of Fire Alarm control Panel.
Monitoring the status of Emergency lights, Spot lights and Exit lights.
Installation and maintenance of Fire Doors, Fire Lift shaft door and Other Opening Protective as per NFPA 80.
Implementation of life saving codes as per NFPA 101.
Bill receiving from the vendors/contractors and after evaluation sending it to the head office.
Make requisition and estimate of Installation and Maintenance work.
Fire risk assessment and take necessary action to remove it.
Make awareness among the worker regarding fire issues.
Arranging the Fire Safety Training for both the workers and officers with the help of local Fire Brigade.
Develop, implement, and monitor Fire & Safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
