Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/ Masters in any discipline.
∎ B.Sc in Textile Engineering from any reputed university preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ As a Assistant Quality Technologist you will play a key part of the team. You will assist and support to drive the quality agenda contributing to the business strategy and ensuring that best practice are implemented to drive cost and time efficiencies whilst delivering right product / right supplier.
∎ Work with quality technologist to gather information to create tech packs where appropriate.
∎ Work with technologist on Sealing Routes by supplier, formulating & implementing control systems, procedures, and standards applicable to products sourced and/or inspected for the Recipient.
∎ Support completion of In Country White Seal / Black Seal / Gold Seal based, including gold seal paperwork due diligence checks
∎ Support the technologist to ensure all test reports are meeting requirements and support in coordinating samples or production testing with the necessary third-party labs.
∎ Assist with the overall product safety, compliance, and product quality support to ensure orders meet the required standards
∎ From a quality and technical prospective manage critical path to monitor the progress of manufacture and transportation to assure that shipment dates are met
∎ When required support technologist to inspect the quality of product samples and/or arrange for quality inspection with the suppliers & factories
∎ Support technologist to ensure Suppliers comply with all protocols and procedures including but not limited to, the Quality and Compliance Manual, product testing from accredited labs, minimum make standards, sealed sample sign off process.
∎ Assist technologist to work with Suppliers on packaging, inclusive of materials, design, and print and ensure packaging meets the marketing, design, artwork, sustainability, and compliance requirements
∎ Where needed support the technologist to manage defective returns including assistance with prosecution of claims against manufacturers/suppliers for defective or damaged shipments. Provide relevant investigation into any product quality issues with suppliers, including visits to suppliers where necessary, and submit the corrective action plan where applicable.
∎ Understand the use of 3D technology and with the technologist to drive it to reduced lead time, cost efficiencies and better sustainability.

∎ Ability to build clear, confident, positive communication with company colleagues and suppliers with the ability to form relationships, influence, and work collaboratively across the business
∎ Up to date with the latest quality & technical trends and best practices
∎ 3D technology skills and experience
∎ Good interpersonal, influencing, listening, organisational, presentation and decision-making skills
∎ Self-motivated and able to work under pressure, quickly and efficiently
∎ Excellent communication skills & fluent in English – written & verbal
∎ Good time management
