Job Context:

To support our growing operations and enhance the efficiency of our Merchandising team, we are looking for dynamic and detail-oriented Trainee/Junior Merchandiser. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about the apparel industry and eager to build a career in merchandising. The selected candidate will work closely with senior merchandisers and cross-functional teams to assist in order execution, supplier coordination, and production follow-ups.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Merchandiser/ Sr. Merchandiser in handling buyer accounts and daily merchandising activities.

• Coordinate with factories, suppliers, and other departments for order progress.

• Support in preparing purchase orders and follow up on samples, trims, and production status.

• Communicate with buyers regarding sample approvals, comments, and order updates.

• Prepare and maintain order sheets, costing sheets, and production status reports.

• Communicate with buyers regarding sample approvals, comments, and order updates.

• Support in sourcing raw materials, trims, and fabrics when required.

• Follow up with the supply chain to in-house trims & accessories as per TNA plan.

• Ensure product quality standards are maintained throughout the process.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to orders and shipment.

• Maintain order tracking files and update order status regularly.

• Learn the end-to-end process of garment merchandising and production follow-up.

• Compile data on the response that customers have given to the products.
