  • Experience in export-oriented RMG factory preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of garments cutting operations and fabric behavior.

  • Expertise in marker efficiency and fabric consumption control.

  • Knowledge of CAD/marker systems and cutting machinery.

  • Leadership and team management capability.

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Understanding of buyer quality standards and production flow.

  • Data analysis and reporting skills (MIS/Excel).

  • Communication and cross-functional coordination skills.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end sewing production operations across assigned production lines.

  • Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production targets are achieved efficiently.

  • Monitor line productivity, efficiency, and output performance regularly.

  • Ensure smooth line setup, style changeover, and manpower balancing activities.

  • Coordinate with IE, Planning, Cutting, Finishing, and Quality teams for uninterrupted production flow.

  • Monitor sewing KPIs including efficiency, DHU, absenteeism, alteration, and line performance.

  • Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.

  • Ensure sewing quality standards and buyer requirements are maintained throughout production.

  • Monitor machine utilization, downtime, and maintenance coordination.

  • Optimize manpower utilization and reduce overtime through proper planning.

  • Ensure implementation of lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain production reports, line performance analysis, and operational MIS.

  • Conduct root cause analysis for production and quality issues and implement CAPA.

  • Ensure workplace discipline, compliance, safety, and operational SOP adherence.

  • Lead and develop production team members through coaching, training, and performance management.

  • Support buyer visits, audits, and management reviews related to production operations.
