Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitor production quality at all stages, ensuring compliance with internal standards from raw materials to finished goods.
∎ Conduct routine inspections, testing, and sampling to maintain product quality in line with ISO and other regulatory standards.
∎ Analyze raw materials and final products using lab equipment to assess properties such as strength, moisture, thickness, and grammage.
∎ Implement corrective actions when deviations from quality benchmarks are identified, ensuring continuous improvement.
∎ Lead and train the QC team, ensuring adherence to quality processes and effective performance management.
∎ Collaborate with production teams to optimize processes, reduce waste, and ensure high-quality output.
∎ Ensure accurate documentation of QC processes, test results, and corrective actions for audits and compliance.
∎ Maintain compliance with national and international quality standards and regulatory requirements
∎ Communicate quality issues with suppliers, customers, and other departments, facilitating smooth QC operations.
∎ Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring all QC activities follow health, safety, and environmental protocols.
