Responsibilities & Context:
Operate the 3 Ton Diesel Boiler, including start-up, shutdown, and routine operation as per standard operating procedures (SOP).
Monitor boiler parameters such as pressure, temperature, water level, and fuel consumption to ensure safe and efficient performance.
Conduct daily inspections, blowdown operations, and ensure proper boiler water treatment.
Identify operational issues, perform basic troubleshooting, and report major faults to the maintenance team promptly.
Maintain boiler logbooks and operational records, and ensure compliance with the Boiler Act, factory safety rules, and environmental regulations, including proper housekeeping of the boiler area.
