Additional Requirements: A. KNOWLEDGE
Filling & Sealing Operations
- Knowledge of tube filling, dosing, sealing, crimping, cap application, and coding operations.
- Understanding of key quality parameters: fill weight accuracy, seal integrity, leakage prevention, and coding compliance.
Quality & GMP
- Knowledge of GMP, line clearance procedures, hygiene discipline, and contamination prevention in filling areas.
- Awareness of defect types: under/over-fill, sealing defect, tube deformation, leakage, coding mismatch.
- Machine Cleaning & Maintenance
- Understanding of cleaning schedules and autonomous maintenance concepts for tube filling machines.
- Basic awareness of safety requirements during machine operation and minor interventions.
Documentation & Reporting
- Understanding of machine logbooks, RM consumption recording, WIP reporting, and rejection recording requirements.
B. SKILLS & ABILITIES
Machine Operation & Troubleshooting
- Strong ability to ensure smooth operation of tube filling machines and maintain stable output.
- Skilled in handling machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting (tube misfeed, nozzle blockage, sealing failure, coding issues).
- Capability to perform efficient SKU changeovers and restore the line quickly after minor stoppages.
Quality Delivery
- Ability to perform routine quality checks and ensure finished tubes meet set standards.
- Strong defect detection skill and ability to take corrective action before quality loss escalates.
Autonomous Maintenance & Cleaning
- Skilled in performing scheduled cleaning, lubrication, and first-level maintenance.
- Ability to lead autonomous maintenance activities and ensure machine hygiene compliance.
Data & Log Management
- Ability to maintain accurate logs on machine performance, RM usage, WIP, rejection, and downtime.

- Experience on FMCG/Pharma tube filling lines is preferred.
- Basic technical ability to understand machine settings and routine checks
Responsibilities & Context: Tube Filling & Sealing Operations
Operate tube filling and sealing machines to meet output targets while ensuring dosing accuracy and seal integrity.
Monitor key parameters (fill volume/weight, sealing temperature, crimp depth, coding alignment) and ensure compliance.
Ensure correct loading of empty tubes, caps, and printed components to avoid misprints or wrong pack mix-ups.
Quality, Hygiene & GMP Compliance
Perform routine in-process checks for fill weight variation, leakage, sealing defects, and print/code readability.
Maintain strict hygiene standards in tube handling, product exposure areas, and cleaning procedures.
Ensure proper documentation of production records, rejects, and deviations as per BPR and SOP requirements.
Troubleshooting & First-Line Maintenance
Identify and respond to common issues (tube misalignment, leakage, sealing failure, dosing variation) to reduce downtime.
Conduct routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments to ensure consistent machine performance.
Coordinate with maintenance during breakdowns and assist in the restoration of operation safely.
Safety & Performance Improvement
Ensure safe operation under machine guarding requirements and comply with LOTO procedures during adjustments.
Support waste reduction initiatives by controlling reject rates and minimizing product spillage.
Assist supervisors in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize OEE and line performance
