Responsibilities & Context:

Casting:

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the Casting Section to ensure smooth production.

• Monitor line-by-line production performance and ensure production targets are achieved.

• Plan and forecast raw material requirements and coordinate with the Store Department for timely availability.

• Monitor raw material consumption and implement measures to reduce wastage and process losses.

• Ensure proper casting weight, product quality, and compliance with production specifications.

• Analyze production performance and recommend corrective actions to improve efficiency.

• Monitor casting defects and take necessary steps to minimize rejection rates.

• Maintain accurate production, material consumption, and quality records.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and performance reports.

• Monitor the performance of casting operators and provide guidance to improve productivity.

• Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, and Store departments to ensure smooth workflow.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

• Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
  

  Glaze:
  

• Supervise daily operations of the Glaze & Lab section to ensure smooth production and quality standards.

• Monitor glaze material planning, consumption, inventory, and cost control.

• Ensure product quality by identifying defects, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.

• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Store departments to achieve production targets and process improvements.

• Monitor process losses, optimize glaze usage, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

• Lead, train, and evaluate team performance while ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Sorting:

• Supervise daily sorting operations to ensure products are classified according to approved quality standards and customer specifications.

• Inspect finished sanitary ware products for defects, dimensions, appearance, and overall quality before packing or dispatch.

• Ensure accurate grading and segregation of products into A-grade, B-grade, rework, and reject categories.

• Monitor sorting productivity, minimize rejection rates, and implement corrective actions to improve quality and efficiency.

• Coordinate with the Production, Quality Control, and Packing departments to ensure a smooth workflow and timely delivery.

• Maintain accurate sorting records, daily production reports, rejection analysis, and quality documentation.

• Train, guide, and supervise sorting personnel to ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.

• Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.

Safa & Finishing:

• Supervise daily operations of the Safa & Finishing section to ensure smooth production and compliance with quality standards.

• Inspect finished sanitary ware products for defects, verify product grade, quantity, and condition before forwarding to the next process.

• Identify quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize defects and process losses.

• Coordinate with Production and Quality Control teams to improve product quality and operational efficiency.

• Prepare daily production, quality, rejection, and process loss reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

• Train, guide, and monitor the performance of finishing personnel to achieve productivity and quality targets.
