These include products never before made locally. Guided by the founding philosophy of “Quality First,” we are looking for a competent Production Planner to strengthen our plant operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans for the float glass line and downstream processing (coating, mirror, tempering), in line with sales orders, forecasts and inventory

• Plan thickness, color and product changeovers on the continuous float line to minimize transition loss and downtime

• Schedule cutting and sizing of float glass for stock and customer orders, and optimize yield and cutting loss

• Plan raw material and batch requirements (silica sand, soda ash, dolomite, cullet, colorants, etc.) with SCM so the furnace is never short of material

• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Maintenance, QC and Warehouse to execute plans and meet delivery commitments

• Monitor plan vs. actual output, yield, pack rate and inventory, analyze gaps and recommend corrective actions

• Prepare MIS reports for management and guide the Assistant Production Planner
