Responsibilities & Context:
1. Conduct inspection and testing of raw materials, packaging, in-process, and finished products as per approved specifications.
2. Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, BSTI, HALAL, Food Safety, and Company Standards.
3. Perform physical, chemical, microbiological, and sensory analyses with appropriate documentation.
4. Investigate deviations, abnormalities, and customer complaints; conduct Root Cause Analysis and support CAPA.
5. Verify conformity of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and finished goods before release.
6. Maintain product specifications, test methods, inspection standards, and QC records.
7. Support calibration, verification, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
8. Assist in internal, external, certification, and regulatory audits.
9. Support new product development, modification, and improvement aligned with business and market needs.
10. Conduct and document R&D trials, pilot runs, sensory evaluations, and product performance studies.
11. Coordinate with suppliers and external laboratories for material testing and technical evaluations.
12. Prepare R&D trial reports, product evaluation reports, and technical documentation.
13. Safeguard confidentiality of product formulations, technical information, and company know-how.
14. Perform other technical duties as assigned by superior.
