Responsibilities & Context:

• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance of feed mill machinery and equipment.

• Monitor and maintain equipment such as hammer mills, pellet mills, mixers, conveyors, elevators, boilers, compressors, and related systems.

• Diagnose mechanical faults and ensure timely breakdown maintenance to minimize production downtime.

• Prepare maintenance schedules, checklists, and equipment history records.

• Monitor spare parts, maintenance materials, and inventory requirements.

• Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, inspection, and condition monitoring of machinery.

• Coordinate with Production, Electrical, Utility, and other departments for maintenance activities.

• Supervise technicians, mechanics, and contractors and ensure proper work execution.

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, maintenance standards, and housekeeping requirements.

• Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Support installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement of new machinery and equipment.

• Prepare maintenance reports, downtime analysis, and maintenance KPIs.

• Control maintenance costs and support energy-efficient and cost-effective maintenance practices.
