3 to 5 years of practical experience in swimming pool operations, water treatment plants, aquatic facility management, or building maintenance services; experience working in luxury residential projects, hotels, or sports clubs will be given preference.
In-depth knowledge of swimming pool filtration systems, plumbing, electrical pump operations, and water chemistry/quality testing.
Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills; strong emphasis on adhering to public health and safety regulations.
Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel) for inventory management, calculating chemical usage, and preparing operational reports.
Responsibilities & Context:
As an 'Executive / Senior Executive – Operations (Swimming Pool),' the incumbent will oversee the maintenance, water treatment, and filtration system operations of swimming pools in residential and commercial properties managed by bti or external clients, while also implementing and supervising safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage daily schedules for pool maintenance, water balancing, chemical dosing, filtration system cleaning, and vacuuming operations across residential apartments, clubs, and commercial complexes.
- Lead, train, and supervise pool technicians, maintenance staff, and attendants; ensure the correct usage and dosage of pool chemicals (chlorine, pH adjusters, algaecides, etc.) and the proper maintenance of pump rooms and filtration equipment.
- Maintain pool water quality in accordance with health standards and ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines, public health regulations, and proper protocols for chemical storage and usage.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project committees, apartment owners, and commercial tenants regarding pool usage policies, maintenance schedules, water quality inquiries, and customer feedback or complaints. Monitor and maintain stocks of pool treatment chemicals, testing kits, safety equipment, and spare parts; coordinate with suppliers to procure quality maintenance materials.
- Prepare daily/weekly water testing logs, chemical usage reports, maintenance schedules, and reports on equipment performance or condition for senior management.
- Assist the team in preparing quotations, cost estimates, and proposals for specialized swimming pool management and maintenance contracts.
