3 to 5 years of practical experience in glass cleaning, building facade management, high-rise building maintenance, or facility management services; experience in the professional cleaning or hygiene services sector is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of modern facade cleaning methods, `rope-access` safety standards, and specialized glass cleaning chemicals.
Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills—particularly regarding safety management during high-altitude operations.
Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel) for inventory tracking, scheduling, and operational reporting.
Responsibilities & Context:
As an 'Executive / Senior Executive – Operations (Glass Cleaning),' the incumbent will oversee, coordinate, and implement specialized glass cleaning, facade (building exterior) maintenance, and high-rise exterior cleaning operations for residential and commercial properties managed by bti or external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage daily schedules for glass cleaning, facade washing, 'Spider-man'/rope-access cleaning, and exterior maintenance for corporate offices, commercial complexes, and high-rise residential apartments.
- Lead, train, and supervise facade cleaning technicians, rope-access specialists, and ground staff; ensure the safe and proper use of cleaning materials, scaffolding, gondolas, safety harnesses, and specialized equipment.
- Ensure that all cleaning operations—whether for high-rise or low-rise structures—strictly adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines, mandatory 'fall-protection' standards, and proper equipment maintenance protocols.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project committees, apartment owners, and commercial tenants regarding facade cleaning inquiries, complaints, and scheduled service activities.
- Monitor and maintain stocks of specialized glass cleaners, safety gear, harnesses, ropes, and cleaning equipment; coordinate with suppliers to procure high-quality products.
- Prepare daily/weekly service logs, cleaning progress reports, equipment inspection records, and incident reports for senior management.
- Assist the team in preparing quotations, cost estimates, and proposals for specialized glass cleaning and facade maintenance contracts.
