Index Accessories Ltd. is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Sewing Thread Manager to oversee the overall operations of the sewing thread division. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, optimizing resources, and achieving production targets while driving continuous improvement across the department.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the overall operations of the Sewing Thread department.
Develop and implement production plans to meet customer requirements and delivery schedules.
Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor daily production performance and machine utilization.
Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality, Commercial, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams for smooth order execution.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and company policies.
Monitor raw material consumption and optimize inventory utilization.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to minimize defects and downtime.
Supervise maintenance planning to ensure maximum equipment availability.
Train, mentor, and evaluate supervisors and production staff to enhance team performance.
Prepare production, efficiency, quality, and management reports.
Ensure workplace safety and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in sewing thread manufacturing, textile manufacturing, or a similar production environment.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of sewing thread manufacturing processes, quality control, production planning, and inventory management.
Experience in production planning, capacity planning, and resource optimization.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and people management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Working knowledge of ERP systems.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
