Responsibilities & Context:
Lead new product development from concept, formulation, packaging, costing and commercialization.
Develop product costing, manage the R&D budget, and ensure product profitability.
Conduct market and competitor analysis to drive product innovation, cost optimization, and product differentiation.
Develop packaging specifications, source quality raw materials, and ensure product-packaging compatibility.
Coordinate with Marketing, Procurement, QA, Production, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product development while complying with food safety and regulatory standards (FDA, ISO, HALAL, etc.).
Improve processes by eliminating waste, controlling development activities, preparing annual NPD plans and budgets, and performing other duties assigned by management.
Prepare SOPs, process flow charts, technical specifications and other production-related documents and instructions.
