Responsibilities & Context:
Prepare, clean and maintain laboratory instruments and work areas to ensure a safe and organized laboratory environment.
Collect, label and transport raw material (RM), packaging material (PM), in-process, water and finished product samples for quality testing.
Assist QC analysts in sample preparation, reagent preparation and routine laboratory activities as instructed.
Ensure proper storage, handling and disposal of laboratory chemicals, samples and waste in compliance with safety and environmental guidelines.
Maintain laboratory consumables, chemicals and stationery inventory and report replenishment requirements to the supervisor.
Record laboratory activities, sample movement, equipment cleaning logs and other relevant documentation accurately and timely.
Support calibration, cleaning and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment as per SOPs and required standards.
