Responsibilities & Context:
∎ In-depth knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law and international labor standards.
∎ Ensure that the supplier factories comply with the country legal regulations in terms of Labor Laws, Environmental Laws.
∎ Conduct internal and external social audits or assist third-party auditors.
∎ Monitor working conditions, wages, health and safety, working hours, etc.
∎ Implement corrective action plans (CAPs) when non-compliances are found.
∎ Ensure that factories follow sustainable practices in waste management, chemical handling, water treatment, etc.
∎ Verify that suppliers meet buyers’ environmental policies and certifications (OEKO-TEX, GOTS, ZDHC).
∎ Maintain up-to-date records of factory certifications and audit reports.
∎ Assist in onboarding new suppliers by assessing their compliance readiness.
∎ Provide reports and updates to buyers regarding supplier compliance status.
∎ Help develop compliance policies, procedures, and manuals.
∎ Conduct training and awareness sessions for suppliers and internal staff on compliance topics.
∎ Guide factories on industry best practices for maintaining compliance.
∎ Maintain detailed records of audits, inspections, certifications, and CAPs.
∎ Ensure traceability and transparency of the supply chain.
∎ Ensure that the supply chain aligns with the ethical sourcing policies of the buying house or the client brand.

∎ Key Responsibilities:
