Responsibilities & Context:
- Supervise and monitor the entire seed crushing operation during assigned shifts, covering preparation, extraction, and bagging sections.
- Maintain all process parameters in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure smooth and continuous plant operation.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Utility, and Quality Control teams to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor and control feeding rate, solvent balance, and oil recovery efficiency to achieve production targets.
- Record and maintain shift-wise production data, chemical consumption, and logbook updates accurately.
- Ensure safe operation of steam lines, compressors, and material handling equipment.
- Lead, guide, and supervise operators and helpers to maintain disciplined and efficient plant operations.
- Prepare and submit shift production summaries and breakdown reports to the Production Manager.
