Responsibilities & Context:
Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for footwear manufacturing.
Ensure product quality from raw material inspection to final shipment.
Establish quality standards based on buyer requirements and buyers specification standards.
Monitor in-line, end-line, and final inspections to ensure defect-free production.
Analyze quality data and identify root causes of defects.
Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities to minimize quality issues.
Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, and Technical teams for continuous quality improvement.
Develop SOPs, inspection checklists, and quality control procedures.
Train and mentor QA team members on quality standards, inspection techniques, and buyer requirements.
Conduct Physical and Chemical tests of raw materials and finished products as per buyers specification or general standard.
Prepare quality performance reports and present them to management.
Handle customer audits, third-party inspections, and buyer's quality visits.
Following up daily material activity and highlight potential risks to concerned teams based on quality reports and rejections.
