Experience:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) in Chemistry, Animal Nutrition, Biochemistry, Microbiology Or any other relevant discipline.
Candidates with experience in Poultry Feed, Fish Feed, Shrimp Feed, Cattle Feed, Animal Nutrition or Agro Industries will receive preference.
Strong knowledge of feed manufacturing processes.
Good understanding of laboratory testing procedures.
Knowledge of feed raw materials and nutritional analysis.
Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, GLP and food/feed safety standards.
Ability to interpret laboratory results and technical reports.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and reporting abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to work under pressure and in a manufacturing environment
The Officer/Sr. Officer – Quality Control will be responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials, work-in-process and finished feed products through laboratory testing, inspections and compliance with company quality standards. The incumbent will support production by maintaining product consistency, ensuring regulatory compliance and implementing quality assurance procedures to achieve customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Inspect and collect samples of incoming raw materials.
Perform physical, chemical and laboratory tests according to established procedures.
Verify raw materials against approved specifications.
Identify and report non-conforming materials.
Coordinate with Procurement, Store and Production departments regarding material quality issues.
Conduct in-process inspections and testing.
Verify formulation accuracy and process parameters.
Monitor moisture, pellet durability, particle size and other quality parameters.
Ensure products comply with nutritional specifications and customer requirements.
Approve or reject finished products based on quality standards.
Maintain QC reports, laboratory registers and inspection records.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly quality reports.
Assist in reducing quality complaints and production losses.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the Reporting Manager.
