Responsibilities & Context:
Lead and oversee the overall Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions for Sweets, Dairy, Bakery, and Pastry products.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality management systems, SOPs, and food safety procedures.
Ensure compliance with BSTI, HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and all applicable food safety and regulatory requirements.
Oversee quality inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure consistent product quality.
Analyze quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with Production, Procurement, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to ensure consistent product quality and process improvement.
Lead internal quality audits and coordinate external audits by regulatory authorities and customers.
Monitor quality KPIs, prepare management reports, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
Build, lead, mentor, and evaluate the QC team to achieve operational excellence.
Ensure all quality documentation, product specifications, testing records, and compliance documents are accurately maintained.
