Responsibilities & Context:
The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all motorcycle manufacturing activities to ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards. This role oversees manpower, production processes, equipment utilization, quality compliance, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring adherence to company policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining product quality.
Monitor production output and identify bottlenecks to improve efficiency.
Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth production flow.
Optimize machine and manpower utilization to maximise productivity.
Lead, supervise, and motivate production supervisors, engineers, and operators.
Allocate manpower based on production requirements.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development.
Ensure discipline and compliance with company policies.
Ensure motorcycles meet company and customer quality standards.
Work closely with the Quality team to reduce defects and rework.
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, Six Sigma, or similar improvement methodologies.
Work closely with the Maintenance department to improve equipment reliability.
Ensure timely availability of raw materials and components
